At West Marion Baptist Church, we're always excited to welcome new visitors. We hope you'll join us for a service, and we want to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Here's what you can expect when you visit our church:
Our church is located at 365 Stroud Street in Marion, NC, and parking is located on both sides as well as the back of the church. If you have mobility restrictions or young children to carry, feel free to use one of the spots closest to the front entrance. We like to keep them free for visitors and people who need assistance.
Please don't worry about what you'll wear to church, for we truly believe people should come to God as they are. You don't have to wear a suit and tie and you don't have to wear an expensive dress. We just want you to dress as nice as you can and come!
Once you walk through the doors, you'll see that the congregation has all types of people in all kinds of dress. While a few people in the church wear ties, some wear nice jeans and polo shirts. Shorts are as welcome as suits, and you'll see both. The main point is that we want you to be here!
When you walk in, it won't take long for one of our members to welcome you. We'll be glad to help you find the nursery and Sunday school rooms if you have children and need to use them. Our friendly members can also point you to the restrooms in case you need those as well. If you have any questions about the service itself, our congregation will happily provide you with helpful answers.
Be sure to hang around after the service and join us for some 'get to know me' time. You'll have a chance to meet our pastor and many other people in the church. We'd also love to get to know you so you're a familiar face the next time you visit!
We look forward to seeing you and can't wait to meet you!
